Theiss records two 14th-place finishes with Comp Cams
On Friday, Austin Theiss made a Super Late Model appearance with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at 67 Speedway of Texarkana (Texarkana, Ark.) for the $5,000-to-win weekend opener.
Following a sixth-place finish in his heat, Theiss was unable to transfer to the main event through the B-Main, but received a provisional starting spot. In the 40-lap feature, Austin charged forward ten spots to finish 14th.
Traveling to Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas) on Saturday, Austin finished fifth in his heat race, relegating him to a B-Main. Transferring to the feature event through his B-Main, Thiess recorded his second 14th-place finish of the weekend.
