Theiss eighth in Doug Ingalls Classic at ArkLaTex Speedway

Heading to Louisiana to close out the month of September, Austin Theiss invaded ArkLaTex Speedway (Vivian, La.) on Saturday afternoon for the highest paying American Crate Late Model Series event of the season.

With a strong field of 33 Late Models checked in, Theiss laid down the fifth-quickest lap in his qualifying group before placing fourth in his heat race. With a $2,800 payday on the line in the Doug Ingalls Classic, Austin fell back to 15th but rallied to score a Top-10 outing in eighth.
