Theiss makes CCSDS start at Boothill Speedway

With Friday's event lost to heavy rain, Austin Theiss joined the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series on Saturday afternoon at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) for the Louisiana State Championship.

Among a stout 32-car field, Thiess qualified 11th-quickest before placing sixth in his heat race. Needing a Top-2 finish in his B-Main to transfer to the $5,000-to-win main event, Austin recorded a fourth-place outing.
