Austin Theiss records sixth-place finish at Texana Raceway Park
On Friday evening, Austin Theiss traveled to Texana Raceway Park (Edna, Texas) for the two-day Make Up Clash event. Starting on the pole of his heat race after earning quick-time honors, Austin lost two spots to place third which pinned him to a third row starting spot in the feature. For the $1,000 payday, Theiss ran inside the Top-5 but fell to sixth at the checkered flag.
In a field of 13 cars on Saturday, Theiss landed a second row starting spot in the $2,000-to-win feature after a runner-up finish in his heat. In the 30-lap feature, Austin was an early retiree on lap and was scored 12th in the final rundown.
