Theiss records 11th place finish at RPM Speedway

Competing in his lone event over the Labor Day weekend, Austin Theiss travled to RPM Speedway (Crandall, Tex.) on Sunday afternoon for the second annual Ronny Sigman Memorial. Drawing 30 Late Models for the event co-sanctioned by the Southern Touring Late Model Series and the DFW Local Late Model Series, Austin secured his spot into the main event with a second place finish in his heat behind Beau Begnaud. With $1,200 on the line, Theiss faded three spots in the 30-lapper to place 11th.
