Top-5 finish at Texana

Saturday night saw Austin Theiss return with the Southern Touring Late Model Series at Texana Raceway Park (Edna, Tex.). In a field of 15 cars, Theiss clawed forward three spots in his heat race to finish fourth. Starting the $1,000-to-win A-Main in 12th, Austin advanced through the field eight spots in the 25-lapper to register a fourth place finish behind Cody Leonard, Ray Allen Kulhanek, and Beau Begnaud with Brandon Brzozowski coming in fifth.
