Austin Theiss Tops Louisiana Late Model Series Field at Boothill Speedway

Austin Theiss invaded Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) on Saturday night for the Louisiana Late Model Series sanctioned Memorial Day Shootout. Gaining one spot in his heat race, Theiss landed a 2nd place finish behind Rick Duke Jr. positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. Overtaking Robbie Stuart for the lead near the half-way point of the 30-lapper, Austin held off the field in the remaining circuits to pick up his second win of the season and a $1,500 payday.
