Top 5 Finish with MARS Series at Longdale Speedway
Making his first start of the season with the MARS DIRTcar West Series, Austin Theiss traveled to Longdale Speedway (Longdale, Oklahoma) on Saturday night for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 19 Super Late Models, Theiss followed up the ninth fastest time in qualifying with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 9th for the feature, Austin advanced through the field five positions in the 35-lap affair reeling in a 4th place spot behind Jesse Stovall, Tony Jackson Jr., and Randy Timms with Payton Looney coming in 5th.
